Ellen Quade is an artist and textile designer living in Austin, TX. Traditionally trained in ceramics, she stepped away from the practice to work in fashion for the last decade. The launch of Great Florals marks her return to the arts, combining her love of pottery, prints & interior decoration - aiming to bring more handmade elements to the home that will be with you for the decades to come.
About Our Pottery
Inspired by antique Delftware, these stoneware pieces are hand painted in a cobalt blue and covered in a coat of clear glaze, intentionally applied to subtly melt the blue and cream together - creating a more dynamic surface finish with a worn in feel. Each piece is completely handmade - unique and imperfect.
